View "Down the Lane" a short film by Dutch filmmaker, Marijn Poels, winner of the 2011 Dodie Spittal Award for the documentary, "The voice of 650 million times one." The award won by Mr. Poels was placed in a monument in Kibera, Nairobi, one of the biggest slums in Africa. See how it all came together.

A decade of making a difference!
The gala awards evening for the tenth festival was on February 12th, 2011.
The gala was a lovely event. Award-winning filmmakers were in attendance along with local filmmakers and people who came from near and far to participate.
